Islamic social finance has emerged through the collection and utilisation of religious social funds, such as zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf (ZISWAF), which is understood as part of the broader scope of the Islamic economic system. The role of government remains important in managing and distributing economic resources to the community.
