摘要

In this era of modern vehicle, antilock braking system (ABS) becomes very important for significantly improving safety by preventing wheel lock-up during braking. It provides safe protection and minimizes stopping distance. This paper focuses on the control techniques and their comparison specifically conventional PID control and fuzzy-based gain scheduling in PID control of ABS systems to enhance their performance. Fuzzy linguistic variables help in maintaining the desired slip ratio and wheel speed. This approach is better in terms of performance and stability gain by vehicle after applying brakes. The integration of fuzzy-based PID control technique with ABS systems offers several advantages over simple PID control. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of further research and development in optimizing fuzzy logic-based PID tunning control algorithm for ABS systems and comparing it with conventional PID control technique.
