Anita Nahal is a poet, fiction writer, professor, and D&I consultant. She is the daughter of the novelist Chaman Nahal and Sudarshna Nahal, a writer and the principal of a K-12 school. Nahal emigrated to the United States with her son in 2002. Currently, she is an adjunct Professor at the University of the District of Columbia, Washington DC. Earlier, she held a faculty position at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington DC Campus, at Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, and the International Affairs at Howard University.
