Optimization and Sensitivity Analysis of Hybrid Wind/PV Energy System
摘要
In this paper sensitivity analysis was conducted to assess the influence of relevant input parameters and constraints on the successful implementation of a hybrid power system at Energy Park, LNCT (Lakshmi Narain College of Technology) Bhopal. The hybrid optimization model for multiple energy resources (HOMER) software was used to develop a model of the hybrid power system and its components, which demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed system for the given load demand profile. The proposed hybrid power system has been recommended for Energy Park, LNCT Bhopal to meet the power demand and achieve self-sufficiency. The behavior of solar and wind power sources was found to be complementary to each other, meaning that only one source is available at a time, resulting in a significant improvement in the system’s reliability. To ensure uninterrupted power supply at Energy Park, LNCT Bhopal, the HES has been designed based on the power load requirements.
