The Anti-Domestic Violence Law in China: Protecting Children’s Rights Within the Family Sphere

This chapter focuses on the content related to children’s rights protection in the Anti-Domestic Violence Law of the People’s Republic of China, and systematically sorts out the institutional design and practical paths of this law in preventing and addressing domestic violence against children. Starting with the definition of domestic violence and the principles of children’s rights protection, it elaborates on the prevention mechanism, response mechanism, personal safety protection order system, and legal liability system in detail. The formulation and implementation of this law constitute a significant manifestation of China’s commitment to its obligations under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
