Regional Anatomy of the Pelvic Cavity and Its Clinical Application
摘要
Pelvic cavity is the lacuna bounded by the pelvic wall and diaphragm. The pelvic wall, comprising lesser pelvis, parietal pelvic muscles, and parietal pelvic fascia, surrounds the pelvic cavity. The lower bound of the pelvic cavity is the pelvic diaphragm, also called the pelvic floor. The upper bound is the inlet of the lesser pelvis, serving as the junction of the abdominal and pelvic cavities.
