Effect of Dual Excitation on Tamm Plasmon Polariton Mode

Tamm Plasmon Polariton (TPP) at the interface of a silver layer and distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) is investigated for different numbers of DBR bi-layer. Exciting the TPP from the DBR side and from the silver side, we compare its field confinement. Using the same excitation intensity but splitting it into two parts for simultaneous both sides excitation results in enhanced field confinement of the TPP mode compared to that of the single-side excitation.
