Enhancing Intellectual Property Rights Management Through Blockchain and RSA-Encrypted NFTs

摘要

The administration of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) has grown progressively intricate due to the rapid acceleration of digital transformation, rendering conventional legacy systems frequently inefficient and vulnerable to exploitation. Consequently, this research investigates the deployment of distributed ledger technology, specifically leveraging smart contracts and RSA-encrypted Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), to potentially ameliorate IPR governance. The study analyzes the capacity of these technological interventions to arguably bolster data transparency and the verification of authenticity within a decentralized framework. Furthermore, the economic feasibility of such implementations is evaluated through a comparative analysis of transaction costs across four distinct Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible testnet environments: Ethereum (Sepolia), BNB Chain (Testnet), Monad (Testnet), and Polygon (Amoy). The findings aim to offer empirical insights into the prospective advantages and fiscal challenges associated with blockchain-based IP frameworks, thereby attempting to inform stakeholders regarding the practical operational implications of these digital architectures.
