Introducing Forced Migration Research

The introduction to Analysing Forced Migration: A Discourse-informed Approach discusses how Forced Migration research can be enhanced by language-based approaches from Discourse Studies. The chapter begins with an overview of Forced Migration as a phenomenon and academic field, followed by issues relevant to Forced Migration in the Global South and existing approaches to studying Forced Migration around the world.
