The growing demand for sustainable agricultural practices has highlighted the importance of organic farming in enhancing soil health, increasing biodiversity, and improving crop quality. Sorghum, a drought-resistant cereal crop, offers significant potential for organic cultivation, particularly in regions facing environmental stressors. This study explores an organic approach to sorghum cultivation aimed at achieving better nutritional outcomes. By utilizing natural fertilizers, crop rotation, and integrated pest management, the research assesses the impact of organic farming techniques on sorghum yield, nutritional content, and environmental sustainability. The findings suggest that organic cultivation not only enhances the nutrient profile of sorghum, increasing levels of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, but also supports soil fertility and biodiversity. This approach presents a viable solution for promoting sustainable agriculture while addressing the nutritional needs of growing populations, making organic sorghum an integral component of a healthy, sustainable food system. The advent of improved organic farming techniques, policy support, and enhanced market infrastructure can unlock the full potential of organic sorghum cultivation and its native grain's nutritional quality in India and Africa, where it’s feed several millions.
