Technical Development Status and Deepwater Application Prospects of Electrically Driven Blowout Preventers
摘要
Blowout Preventers (BOPs) are critical well control equipment for oil and gas development. Traditional hydraulically driven BOPs are plagued by limited performance, frequent failures, and high maintenance costs. Electrically driven BOPs replace hydraulic drives with electric motors, which overcomes the inherent drawbacks of hydraulic systems such as fluid leakage and response lag. Boasting fast response speed and high control precision, electrically driven BOPs represent the core direction for the “intelligent and green” transformation of well control equipment, and are of great significance for deepwater/ultra-deepwater oil and gas exploration and development.
