摘要

As a critical component connecting deepwater floating drilling platforms to subsea wellheads, deepwater drilling riser systems are susceptible to vortex-induced vibration (VIV) under ocean currents. Prolonged VIV may lead to fatigue failure of the system, making the prediction and suppression of VIV extremely important. Based on the actual configuration parameters of a drilling riser system in the South China Sea, this study establishes a fluid-structure interaction model of the tensioner-riser-conductor coupled system, develops a full-scale fluid-structure interaction solver for deepwater drilling risers, and systematically investigates the full-scale VIV characteristics of the system. The research provides theoretical and technical support for VIV prediction and safe operation of deepwater drilling riser systems.
