Potential Transport Pathways of Offshore Wind Power Hydrogen Production Industry Based on 7th CHFE
摘要
The 7th CHFE provided insights into the current research and supportive products within China’s hydrogen energy sector, focusing on hydrogen production, storage, transport, and application. Drawing on the latest advancements in seawater electrolysis for hydrogen generation, this study proposes potential transport pathways for hydrogen produced on-site by offshore wind power, integrating these with current hydrogen storage and transport technologies and addressing the associated technical challenges. This work also offers recommendations to foster industry growth, highlighting the promising market potential of the offshore wind-powered hydrogen production sector. There is an identified need for comprehensive research on the offshore hydrogen transport link that connects production and consumption terminals, warranting increased attention. There is an urgent call for policy guidance and collaborative efforts to overcome the obstacles from basic research to practical implementation, aiming to establish an integrated and coexistent multi-path hydrogen transport system.
