Literature Review on Optimization of Injection Parameters for Offshore Carbon Dioxide

摘要

Against the backdrop of global dual-carbon goals, offshore Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) has become a key emission reduction pathway due to its large storage potential and proximity to emission sources. Focusing on the optimization of offshore CO2 injection parameters, this paper systematically reviews four core research directions: the basic physical properties and phase behavior of CO2 in formation pores; the geomechanical and seepage laws during the injection process; the wellbore-formation multi-field coupling model; and the optimization of key injection parameters. The study points out limitations in existing achievements, including insufficient region-specific data for areas such as the South China Sea, failure of coupling models to cover biological effects and dynamic boundaries, and poor adaptability to extreme working conditions. Future efforts should focus on obtaining exclusive parameters for the South China Sea, upgrading the BTHMC full-coupling model, developing regionally adaptive optimization algorithms, and constructing a technical standard system to support the large-scale development of offshore CCUS in China.
