摘要

This paper systematically reviews visualisation methods in cinemetrics, tracing their development from algorithmic foundations to software applications. Unlike previous reviews that primarily focus on conceptual frameworks, this study provides a systematic overview of various software tools—such as Cinemetrics, Adobe Premiere, PySceneDetect, and DaVinci Resolve—highlighting their distinctive value in quantitative analysis. Core methods including shot-length analysis, statistical metrics, and trend modelling are examined to demonstrate how quantitative techniques advance the study of video editing rhythms and stylistic patterns. Case studies further validate their applicability in diverse video contexts, underscoring the methodological significance of visualisation approaches in contemporary video research.
