Evaluation and Staging in Oral Cavity Cancer

India accounts for one-third of all global oral cavity cancer cases, as reported by the GLOBOCAN database. In India, oral cavity cancer makes up 30% of all cancers. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) states that it causes more deaths among men than women. Symptoms can differ, but common signs include painless ulcers and red or white patches in the mouth. This chapter will briefly discuss the risk factors, presentation, evaluation, and staging of oral cavity cancers.
