摘要

Brain tumor patients typically are treated with surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy. These patients, after treatment, should be evaluated clinically for symptoms suggesting residual disease or radiation-associated toxicities. Frequency of neuroimaging is suggested based on the grade of the primary tumor, with a shorter follow-up interval for high-grade tumors or if symptoms recur. Assessment of hypothalamic-pituitary axis (HPA) associated hormones may also be required. This chapter explains in detail regarding follow-up in patients with brain tumors.
