摘要

Pediatric solid tumors comprise of <1% of all cancers and differ from adult cancers in their biology, clinical presentation, and response to treatment. Pediatric cancers, though less common than adult malignancies, present a unique set of challenges that require specialized approaches in diagnosis, treatment, and care. These cancers can affect children of all ages, from infants to adolescents, each presenting distinct biological and clinical characteristics. The journey through pediatric cancer care demands not only advanced medical interventions but also a compassionate, family-centric approach that addresses the emotional and psychological needs of both the young patients and their families.
