Evaluation of Non-IDC Breast Cancer

Non-IDC breast cancer is heterogeneous. The most common variant is invasive lobular carcinoma. Most breast cancers present in a similar fashion with a lump. This chapter will describe in brief the various types of non-IDC breast cancer, the differences in demography, presentation, and prognosis. It will also give a brief description of management. This chapter aims to provide point-wise data points regarding differences in the types of non-IDC breast cancer. Evaluation and staging of IDC breast cancer has been provided in a separate chapter.
