Evaluation and Staging of Salivary Gland Malignancy
摘要
Salivary gland malignancies are relatively rare tumors representing less than 5% of all head and neck malignancies. Based on the location and type of histology, salivary gland malignancies have local spread, nodal involvement, and distant metastases. FNAC is necessary to identify a malignant lesion. This chapter explains in brief the workup of salivary gland malignancies.
