Botulinum Toxin Injection in Eyelid Rejuvenation

One of the primary uses of botulinum toxin type A, which has also been approved by the FDA, is the reduction of dynamic wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet lines). These wrinkles are caused by the hyperkinetic activity of the orbital portion of the orbicularis oculi muscle. In this chapter, we discuss about other off label cosmetic indications of botulinum toxin injection around the eyes such as eyebrow lift and reshaping and open eye.
