Periorbital Aging Protection and Prevention
摘要
Aging is a complex process affecting different organs in the human. The periorbital region is one of the first facial sites which demonstrates the features of aging, and even minor alterations of its structure may have a negative impact on the quality of life. The most important features of periorbital aging include the eyebrow prolapse, increased fullness, congestion or deflation of the upper eyelid, ptosis of the upper eyelid, depleted volume of the soft tissue, bony resorption of the orbit, loss of the septal support, and hollowing of the supraorbital bony rim. Herein, some of the most important protective and preventive approaches against periorbital aging have been listed in brief.
