Midface Lift for Periorbital Rejuvenation

Under eye bags, loose eyelid skin, and infraorbital hollows are common aesthetic facial concerns. Through a subciliary and lateral canthal incision, orbicularis suspension and pre-periosteal dissection with orbital fat repositioning can address these variables. With proper patient selection and good technique, the external midface lift achieves excellent rejuvenation of the lower eyelids and midface in a durable manner and with minimal risk for lower eyelid malposition. This chapter details relevant anatomy and surgical technique specifics.
