Upper Lid Blepharoplasty

Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is one of the most common surgical procedures performed by oculoplastic surgeons. This procedure can be performed for functional (affecting the vision) or cosmetic indications. Although this is usually a straight-forward procedure, it is of utmost importance to communicate carefully with the patient to ensure expectations and goals of surgery are understood. Basic preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative sequences are described in this chapter.
