Study on the Heat Exchange Capacity of Coolers for Converter Transformers Under High-Altitude Conditions
摘要
As the core equipment of high-voltage direct current transmission systems, the operational reliability of converter transformers is directly related to the safety and stability of the power grid and the service life of the equipment. There are difficulties in the actual operation of ultra-high voltage converter transformers in high-altitude environments, especially in terms of the cooling and heat exchange capacity of the equipment. Heat dissipation is the key to ensuring their safe operation. This paper studies the cooling and heat exchange capacity of the cooler used in converter transformers at high altitudes. By building an experimental platform for the heat exchange capacity of the cooler used in transformers, the changes in the cooling capacity of the cooler at different altitudes are tested. Establish a multi-physics field coupling simulation model to systematically study the temperature rise characteristics and heat exchange capacity evolution law of transformer oil under different altitude conditions. The temperature rise of the converter transformer is directly calculated and compared and analyzed with the simulation calculation results.
