Cause Analysis of Abnormal Heating in a 220 kV Surge Arrester
摘要
This paper presents a detailed case study of abnormal behavior in a 220 kV zinc oxide (ZnO) surge arrester. Through comprehensive diagnostic testing and analytical methods, the anomaly was systematically investigated, with root causes thoroughly examined. Study on testing methods, analysis, and comparative test with normal operation standard. The results can offer good references for repairing and diagnosing similar equipment. In order to improve the reliability of operation, it is highly suggested that the management and maintenance of similar devices should be managed in a strict manner in the future, which can give us better answers in similar situations. The diagnostic technique talked about here gives a possible frame work for facing unique operational conditions in ZnO surge arresters.
