Research on Calibration Waveform Parameters for Lightning Impulse Voltage Divider Used in UHV Test

The lightning impulse voltage withstand test results directly determines the insulation property of the electrical equipment of power system, which is related to the safe operation of the power grid and the safety and economy of equipment manufacturing. With the development of ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission technology, the impulse withstand voltage of UHV electrical equipment has reached to 2400 kV and above. Accurate measurement of impulse voltage peak value and time parameters is crucial for evaluating the insulation state of equipment, so regular calibration test for the impulse voltage dividers is needed to ensure the accuracy of the insulation test. This study focuses on the differences in scale factors calibration results of impulse dividers with different rated voltages under different calibration waveforms. This study provides reliable test data support for the formulation and revision of subsequent standards related to impulse voltage.
