Worldwide Productivity and Research Trend of Publications Concerning Wireless Power Transfer System Efficiency Research: A Bibliometric Study

As a representative power technology in the new round of technological revolution, wireless power transfer technology has been extensively studied. Efficiency, as a key performance indicator constraining its development, has spurred optimization research covering various aspects of wireless power transfer system design and control. Therefore, the research hotspots and future development directions of transmission efficiency in wireless power transfer systems warrant further exploration. A bibliometric analysis was conducted based on the SCI-Expanded database in the Web of Science Core Collection. From 2015 to 2025, a total of 6,033 articles related to the efficiency of wireless power transfer systems were published. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the annual publications, countries, keywords of the retrieved publications using bibliometric tools. Subsequently, the current research status and future development directions of wireless power transfer system efficiency were discussed, employing keyword clustering analysi, offering valuable insights for researchers interested in entering this field.
