Finite Element Analysis of Two- and Three-Dimensional Solids
摘要
This chapter focuses on the finite element analysis of two-dimensional and three-dimensional solids, both of which utilize C0 elements and therefore share certain similarities. This chapter provides a detailed discussion of linear and higher-order triangular elements, as these procedures form the foundation for constructing other two- and three-dimensional elements. Building on this, the chapter introduces linear and higher-order quadrilateral, tetrahedral, prismatic, hexahedral, and pyramidal elements. Quadrilateral and hexahedral elements are simple, accurate, and efficient, but their geometric representation capabilities are not as versatile as those of triangular and tetrahedral elements.
