摘要

Performance monitoring devices are very important to identify which area should be improved. Surface Electromyography (sEMG) is one of the important bio-signals that can be obtained from athletes during training sessions. A wireless sEMG data acquisition device provides solutions in capturing electrical potential of muscles called Motor Unit Action Potentials (MUAP). This device utilizes Arduino Nano microprocessor with two Myoware muscle sensors to capture MUAP, identify patterns, and connect wirelessly to screen. Data was monitored on a personal computer and smartphone via Bluetooth for storage and observation. The device was tested and evaluated, resulting in an average sampling rate of 33.55 ms and an average reading latency of just 12.38 ms. Wireless device was compared to the wired device and wireless version achieved a faster sam- pling rate by 1.34% but had a reading latency that was 1.04% slower. The results indicate that while the developed wireless device demonstrates improved signal reading speed, enhancements in reading latency are necessary to ensure its reliability in power-assisted systems in the future.
