摘要

Anxiety is a prominent issue among athletes in sports performance. Outstanding performance in sports depends on athletes’ conditions, and we must understand the nuances of anxiety parameters. The primary aim of this study is to examine the psychological attributes of athletes’ anxiety during sports. The study covered articles on (1) sport anxiety, (2) anxiety parameters, and (3) types of sport through three popular databases: Web of Science, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. The SLR was conducted using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) guidelines. The search received 519 records, and after screening with the eligibility criteria, 36 studies were included in full text. Thirty-six studies (N = 36) were selected after screening and biddable to the inclusion criteria mentioned. Background data of studies provided varying samples, sports, and conditions. Still, in the end, examining the competitive anxiety parameter aims to ensure the athlete’s condition during their sport performance. The findings contribute to the literature on anxiety parameter toward athlete performance in sports. By identifying anxiety parameters, the study can be further extended by developing a device that can monitor the athlete’s anxiety in real time.
