Helicobacter pylori causes substantial gastroduodenal morbidity, yet rising antimicrobial resistance, treatment intolerance, and reinfection highlight the need for nonantibiotic strategies. This chapter evaluates immunotherapeutic approaches, active and passive, with an emphasis on disease-blocking rather than sterilizing immunity (Fig. 15.1).
