Every prospective parent is curious about what the future holds for their unborn child, but in cases where a genetic syndrome is suspected, this curiosity may be accompanied by apprehension and fear. Modern genetic testing makes it possible to answer critical questions about fetal health. Access to this knowledge, however, raises significant questions in the realm of ethics.
