摘要

Cardiovascular disease (CVD), as one of the major global health challenges, continues to pose a serious threat to human health and quality of life. With the changes in modern lifestyles and the aging trend of the population, the incidence of CVD and the associated risks continue to rise. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), CVD ranks among the top three leading causes of mortality globally, alongside infectious diseases and cancer. By 2030, the number of deaths due to cardiovascular diseases will increase to 23.6 million worldwide. According to the China Cardiovascular Health and Disease Report 2023, China currently harbors approximately 330 million CVD patients, a figure that continues to rise. Specifically, this includes 11.39 million with coronary heart disease, 8.9 million with heart failure, 4.87 million with atrial fibrillation, and a staggering 245 million with hypertension [1].
