A new era of innovation in digital healthcare has begun with the development of smart and sustainable nanomaterials, which provide game-changing solutions in various sectors. An overview of the main areas in which these nanoparticles are significantly advancing healthcare is given in this chapter. Because of their special physicochemical characteristics, nanomaterials are excellent choices for improving medical monitoring, therapy, and diagnostics. These materials can be precisely functionalized and characterized to fit specific needs, which makes it possible to construct extremely selective and sensitive biosensors for early disease detection. Furthermore, platforms based on nanomaterials show promise for targeted medication delivery, allowing for regulated release kinetics and reducing side effects. These platforms enable people to take proactive steps to maintain their well-being, ranging from implanted devices for intracellular monitoring to wearable sensors for continuous health tracking. Furthermore, the creation of affordable and ecologically friendly healthcare solutions is aided by the scalability and sustainability of nanomaterials. To guarantee the safe and successful integration of nanomaterial into clinical practice, we must address issues with biocompatibility, regulatory compliance, and scalability as we fully utilize their promise. We can create the foundation for a healthcare delivery system that is more easily accessible, effective, and individualized by utilizing the adaptability and inventiveness of nanotechnology.
