Nanomaterials have emerged as a promising type of material in regenerative medicine, providing novel ways to repair, replace, and regenerate damaged tissues and organs. This chapter discusses the diverse applications of nanomaterials in regenerative medicine, concentrating on their ability to improve biological responses, stimulate tissue regeneration, and facilitate drug administration. Key breakthroughs in the design and implementation of nanomaterials, including nanoparticles, nanofibers, and nanocomposites, are explored concerning bone, neural, and cardiovascular tissue engineering. Additionally, the chapter looks at how nanoparticles might alter the immune system, enhancing the functionality and integration of implanted materials. Furthermore, their integration with digital healthcare platforms emphasizes the importance of smart nanomaterials in personalized therapy and real-time monitoring. We conducted a thorough analysis of the sustainability of nanomaterials, accounting for the biocompatibility concerns and environmental effects related to their development and use. The chapter offers insights into the future of nanomaterials in regenerative medicine, where the combination of digital healthcare and nanotechnology can potentially improve treatment outcomes by addressing these problems.
