Research on Evaluation Process Model of Multi-lane Traffic Organization Design for Highway Reconstruction and Expansion Based on Digital Requirements

摘要

The distinct requirement for uninterrupted traffic flow during China’s expressway reconstruction and expansion projects has driven the development of specialized traffic organization design systems. These systems ensure orderly traffic management during construction by deploying temporary traffic facilities, implementing access road layouts, and integrating dynamic control measures with traffic guidance strategies. As the critical component for guaranteeing construction safety, traffic efficiency, and project timelines, current design processes still face significant bottlenecks: (1) reliance on manual expert judgment for solution generation, (2) inflexibility in adapting to dynamic changes in construction schedules and traffic demand, and (3) inefficiencies in multi-stakeholder interest coordination, collectively prolonging decision-making cycles. To address these challenges, this study systematically deconstructs the principles of traffic organization design and proposes a digital evaluation framework incorporating phase segmentation, performance metrics, and decision-triggering thresholds. The framework provides theoretical foundations for solution assessment and real-time decision optimization in complex reconstruction environments.
