摘要

This paper combines the content, characteristics, and applications of the Bathymetric Surface (S-102) and Water Level Information for Surface Navigation (S-104) product specifications under the IHO Universal Hydrographic Data Model (S-100) standard framework. Based on the dynamic depth calculated from the fused forecast tidal level data derived from gridded-data S-102 and S-104, as well as the determination of navigable and non-navigable area by setting a vessel’s safety depth, this study investigates an algorithm for designing tide-riding navigation routes. The technical approach, implementation methods, and key challenges of realizing tide-bound navigation route planning are elaborated, and experimental validation is conducted. It proposes a method for implementing tide-bound navigation route planning on vessel navigation terminals using these two types data of S-100 standard. At the same time, the study has proven that the Theta* algorithm can achieve simple automatic planning of tide-bound navigation routes and can effectively assist in calculating key nodes and time points along the route. The navigation plan derived from the algorithm was verified on the Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS), and the test results showed that the navigation plan is safe and feasible.
