Assessment of Coal Transportation Supply Chain Resilience to Enhance Energy Security in the Yangtze River Economic Belt

As a vital national logistics corridor and core energy consumption zone, the Yangtze River Economic Belt depends on a stable coal supply to ensure the security of regional industrial and supply chains. The sea-to-river supply chain, a key route under the “North-to-South Coal Transport” strategy, requires high resilience to strengthen bulk commodity logistics networks. To evaluate the resilience of Company G’s sea-to-river coal logistics supply chain quantitatively and objectively, an indicator system was developed focusing on warehousing, transportation, and power plant nodes, based on field research and literature review. Using the AHP-Entropy method to determine indicator weights and a TOPSIS model for assessment, resilience was measured in terms of risk resistance, recovery capacity, and adaptability. Key factors influencing supply chain resilience were identified as historical experience of disruptions, infrastructure robustness, and resource redundancy. The model also ranked the resilience levels of different nodes in the logistics network. Provide scientific decision-making support for relevant enterprises and departments to address uncertainty risks in complex environments and ensure the stable and efficient operation of energy corridors.
