摘要

To address the insufficient target perception capability of existing waterway monitoring systems in low-visibility environments, this study proposes the application of shore-based active phased array radar in intelligent waterway traffic monitoring. Through theoretical analysis and field experiments at Huanghua Port, the technical advantages of phased array radar with electronic scanning mechanism and pulse-Doppler scheme were verified. Experimental results demonstrate that compared to traditional VTS mechanical radar and AIS systems, the phased array radar reduces the data update cycle to 2 s, improving target tracking real-time performance by 5 to 150 times. This study also reveals false trajectory issues caused by multipath effects and sidelobe interference in engineering applications, and proposes an optimized monitoring solution featuring radar deployment along the channel axis. These findings provide crucial technical support for establishing all-weather, high-frame-rate intelligent waterway monitoring systems.
