Study on the Construction, Development and Improvement Paths of Chengdu Tianfu Railway Station under the Background of Station-City Integration

摘要

As the concept of “Station-City Integration” has become a key guideline for the construction of large-scale transportation hubs in China, the role of high-speed railway station buildings is transforming from a single transportation node to a comprehensive gateway integrating transportation, commerce, culture, and the city. As a national-level comprehensive transportation hub serving the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, Chengdu Tianfu Railway Station is a typical practice of this concept. Taking Tianfu Railway Station as the research object, this paper first analyzes the key issues faced in its planning and construction under the background of Station-City Integration, including multi-mode transportation coordination, space integration, cultural expression, green and low-carbon development, and intelligent operation and maintenance. Furthermore, it systematically expounds the improvement paths and key technologies adopted to address these issues, including the overall layout optimization centered on the “integrated bridge and building structure” and “upper entry and lower exit” modes, the architectural design integrating cultural imagery based on the concept of “building a nest to attract phoenixes” (i.e., creating a favorable environment to attract talents and resources), the green building practices integrating technologies such as ground-source heat pumps, photovoltaic roofs, and light valley daylighting, and the construction of an intelligent system for a smart station. Finally, this paper prospectively summarizes the implementation effects and promotion value of Tianfu Railway Station’s construction model, aiming to provide useful references for the planning, design, and construction of a new generation of large-scale comprehensive transportation hubs in China.
