Experimental Study of Oil Product Buildup During Oil Spills
摘要
The paper considers the process of one-dimensional spreading (e.g., spill is in the mouth of a river or canal) of oil products on the surface of water and ice. The dynamics of spreading of crude oil and motor oil slick on the surface of ice and water at different parameters of experiment, such as: initial volume of substance, temperature of substance, water surface, ice, environment is analyzed. The peculiarities of formation and behavior of the layer of adhered oil products on the walls of the container and ice surface, and the influence of this layer on the dynamics of spreading of the pollution slick on the surface of water and ice are considered.
