Three-Dimensional Numerical Modeling of the Thermal Regime of a Thermokarst Inland Reservoir

This article presents the results of pilot testing of a three-dimensional numerical lake model for describing the temperature regime of a small thermokarst reservoir. Numerical experiments were conducted using the developed model configuration, and the results were compared with in situ measurements conducted in 2023 and 2024. It was confirmed that the model correctly describes the thermal regime of the studied water body. The proposed configuration is planned for further research of the biochemical regime (specifically, the methane cycle) of the thermokarst lake.
