The intersection of the Internet of Things (IoT) and entrepreneurship presents significant opportunities for technological integration and business model innovation. Despite increasing research in this field of study, an understanding of how IoT impacts the entrepreneurial landscape comprehensively is still lacking. This study aims to fill this gap by conducting a bibliometric analysis of 2,115 secondary data publications from the Scopus database published between 2006 and 2024. This study employs VOSviewer to explore the current landscape of research at this nexus, identifying key trends, influential publications, and emerging themes. The findings indicate a significant rise trend in research publication over the past decade, with notable contributions from Germany, China, and the United States. Key themes identified include IoT-enabled business models, smart product development, and the enhancement of operational efficiency, which were derived from thematic clustering of the most frequently occurring keywords analysis. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of research on IoT and entrepreneurship. It contributes to both the theoretical and practical understanding of this dynamic field. The implications of these findings suggest that practitioners such as entrepreneurs should integrate IoT more strategically to increase competitiveness and operational efficiency. The comprehensive mapping of the field also identifies implications for academics in future research directions to address the identified challenges and explore understudied areas.

摘要
