Blockchain technology is a transformative innovation that has the potential to optimize operational efficiency, enhance data security, and improve transparency for organizations. Despite its promise, blockchain technology adoption (BTA) remains limited, highlighting a gap between its anticipated benefits and real-world implementation. As a result, its full potential has yet to be realized. This limitation is attributed to a lack of theoretical clarity regarding the factors influencing BTA in organizations and a scarcity of research on the interdependencies among these factors. Through a structured, multi-phase, and mixed-methods approach, this study aims to develop a comprehensive hierarchical framework for BTA. This framework will contribute to BTA research by offering a comprehensive list of factors and mapping their dependency relationships. Furthermore, the framework will provide practical insights for stakeholders navigating BTA and implementation challenges.
