Based on SimuNPS of VSC-HVDC High-Voltage Direct Current System Simulation and Research

Flexible DC transmission is the trend of future large-capacity power grid development. This paper studies the mathematical model, control strategy and simulation implementation of VSC-HVDC. Based on the principle of voltage source converter and using SVPWM modulation method, a 23 kV flexible high-voltage DC transmission primary circuit and the corresponding control part SimuNPS model are built. Through the double closed-loop control mode composed of voltage outer loop and current inner loop, and by using PI regulator, the system can ultimately achieve zero steady-state error control. The analysis of the simulation results shows that the active power P and reactive power Q transmitted by the system can follow the given reference active and reactive power in real time, and the dynamic performance is good, which verifies the correctness of the simulation results.
