Psychoeducation is emphasized as the first-stage intervention before any symptom-specific module is implemented. This chapter covers psychoeducation for hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized symptoms and provides explanations, instructions, and vignettes that can be useful to psychotherapists in helping patients understand these experiences without judgment or mystification.
