Improving Self-Compassion in Psychosis
摘要
This chapter introduces a self-compassion module designed to reduce shame, self-criticism, and internalized stigma in psychosis. It outlines treatment goals, reviews assessment using the Self-Compassion Scale, and describes key therapeutic techniques such as the compassionate break exercise. The module emphasizes developing a kinder internal dialog, increasing emotional warmth toward oneself, and building protective self-schemas that support psychological recovery and resilience.
