Toward Intentional, Ethical, and Transformative Graduate Supervision
摘要
Graduate supervision is one of the most consequential responsibilities in the academy. The supervision of theses and dissertations not only shapes the intellectual growth of individual students but also influences the culture of disciplines, the vitality of research communities, and the credibility of universities as spaces of knowledge creation. The decisions supervisors make—about expectations, communication, feedback, conflict, and assessment—reverberate far beyond a single supervisory dyad. They shape the careers of future scholars, the quality of research that enters the world, and the reputation of institutions entrusted with graduate education.
