Similarly, pollinators exhibit physiological and morphological traits, such as specialized mouthparts, sensory adaptations, and flight capabilities, that optimize foraging efficiency and facilitate pollination. This mutualistic relationship promotes co-evolution, with certain plant species becoming highly dependent on specialized pollinators. However, disruptions such as habitat loss, climate change, and the introduction of invasive species threaten these relationships, jeopardizing pollination services critical to food security and ecological balance.
